If you’re reading this, chances are, you are thinking about booking a boudoir photoshoot experience. It can exciting and somewhat intimidating at the same time!

And if this is your first time you probably have lots of questions (most women do!).

Below we cover everything you might wanna know about a boudoir photoshoot with La Perla Boudoir:

I am very nervous about this experience, what can I do?

Feeling nervous before your session is totally normal. It means that you are excited!! You are about to do something new, get out of your comfort zone! I just want to remind you that this photoshoot experience is custom-made for YOU and it’s all about YOU. I’ll guide you through the entire experience starting with a discovery consultation, you’ll receive various guides with information on how to get ready for your shoot, we’ll help you with wardrobe selection, pamper you with hair and makeup, explain you posing techniques and demonstrate poses, play awesome music, take breaks and show you sneak peeks! It usually takes only a few short minutes for our clients to relax and start enjoying the session. We’ll create the most meaningful and fun experience and by the end of the day you’ll be a true supermodel!

Do I have to bring outfits?

Yes and no. We leave it up to you! You are welcome to bring any outfits you want OR you can take advantage of our Client Closet with 550+ items to choose from! It’s all about the fit so if you’re planning on bringing outfits, please, try them on and make sure they fit well! We can also mix and match outfits and use some of yours with a few pieces from the Client Closet!

Do I have to wear Lingerie?

If lingerie is not your thing you can wear whatever you love / feel amazing in!

Boudoir photography isn’t about lingerie - it’s about connecting with yourself, exploring and embracing your sensuality.

I recommend bringing several outfits. Everyday staples work great - think cardigans, coats, sweaters, button down shirts, beach coverups, t-shirts, favorite tank tops, fitted dresses..

A lot of women choose to take advantage of our amazing 550+ item Client Closet with a large collection of lingerie and non-lingerie options such as robes, coverups, skirts and sweaters!

Where should I buy my outfits?

There are lots of places to shop for lingerie.

If you’re looking for brick-and-mortar lingerie store there are very few local places but it can be helpful to visit one or two stores to get an idea of your true size and try on a few styles (many places still don’t allow to use their fitting rooms at this time but you always can purchase an item, try it on at home and return it if it doesn’t work for you).

If you are wondering about your size local Victoria’s Secret store offers fittings, they’ll guide you to the right style and fit. Once you know your size and desired style/fit I recommend ordering online: Adore me, Savagex.com, Missguided.com, Nastygal.com, SHEIN, Victoria's Secret, Playful Promises, Hips and Curves, Torrid, Amazon, Oh La La Cheri.

Is hair and makeup included?

Your makeover is a part of the full length photosession experience.

We will create a look based on your preference - natural makeup to emphasize your features or glam with a dash of drama.

Hair styling is also included (with loose waives being the most requested style), however, some of our clients choose to style their own hair (usually ladies with short hairstyles or natural curls or professional stylists).

What is your retouching policy?

All of your final images will be fully retouched.

I use posing, wardrobe styling and lighting to flatter your shape and curves.

My retouching mainly consists of making your skin look it's best, however, I will always ask you what exactly you’re looking for.

The general rule is, if it's something temporary on your body or skin, it will be retouched.

What kind of products do you offer?

We offer luxury albums, mounted prints, wall art and fun items such as Polaroids, Viewfinder and playing cards!

We’ll show you samples when you arrive to the studio! We also post about the products in our women-only La Perla Boudoir VIP Group.

Can I purchase digitals?

Most of our packages come with their corresponding digitals. You will receive these images either on a crystal usb or via a digital download from your password-protected online gallery.

Do you have payment plans?

Absolutely! We are proud to make this amazing photoshoot experience accessible to most women via convenient Payment Plans and Bonuses.

This is one of the best investment in YOURSELF and it is our goal to make it available to women of all backgrounds. We will work with you to create a plan that works with your budget. We recommend scheduling your photoshoot several weeks/months in advance to properly prepare for your session and take advantage of our prepayment bonuses.

Will you share my images?

Absolutely not!

The only images ever posted on any platform are images we have a model release for. Having your images shared is NOT a session requirement.

Where are you located?

Our main studio is located in Lynn Haven, Florida. We also offer limited number of sessions at airbnbs in Panama City Beach, FL as well as in a few outdoor locations on 30a including the beach.

The main studio with larger-than-life windows has multiple sets including two bedroom sets (bohemian and glam), a gorgeous clawfoot tub, velvet dusty blue couch, several settees and chairs, enormous mirror, cozy fireplace and more!
