Beach Boudoir 101

Everything you wanted to know about Beach Boudoir

Beach Boudoir Photoshoot is usually a second session in Boudoir Trifecta following a Studio Session.

Doing a Beach Boudoir Session can be exciting, liberating and a bit nerve-wracking at the same time!

According to our clients, second session is even more fun because they are already familiar with the process, know what to expect and look forward to a little outdoor adventure!
It’s quite different from our signature studio experience: we never know what the beach and the waves would look like until we get there.

Weather Conditions

Best months to have a Beach Boudoir Photosession is March-November. We have done a few sessions during the winter months and they’re fun, too (add a fur coat over a swimsuit for a cool vibe!), and we won’t make you get in the water!

We monitor weather closely, anything beyond a light rain is a no-go. With Northwest Florida weather, conditions can clear up pretty fast, so we can wait it out if we have to or we’ll do our best to reschedule.

We’ve had sessions on a perfectly sunny day with still water, in the mystical morning fog hovering over the surface of the water, during a light rain, with some dramatic waves, with unbelievable sunset as a backdrop and many more.

Mother Nature never disappoints!

Safety first!

We always follow local beach safety rules and guidance and will never ask you to get in the water if it’s risky to do so. Also, we always ask our clients what they would be comfortable to do and if they’re a good swimmer.

Marine life

We won’t get you in the water if there is dangerous marine life present (purple flags) or observed (Portugese Man-of-War is not our friend!). However, we love to occasionally catch on camera schools of fish and playing dolphins!

Mermaids are welcome!

If you’ve always dreamed of becoming a mermaid for a day here is your chance to try on one of our mermaid tails (or bring your own!) and have gorgeous images!

Beach Boudoir outfits

Swimsuits, bodysuits, white tanks/shirts/dresses, beach coverups, denim shorts, body jewelry, mermaid tail to name a few.. And you can leave those high heels at home!

Where you will change

We do have a portable changing room that will be available for your convenience and privacy weather-permitting. Other arrangements will be made if this option isn’t available due to winds.

Will there be other people?

We can’t guarantee total privacy since the beaches that we use are all public beaches along scenic 30a. From our experience, sunrise sessions are the best for Beach Boudoir in Panama City Beach or on 30a because there will be a lot less people. Be prepared to have an extra early morning!

Also, if there happen to be people walking on the beach during your beach boudoir session we can always take a short break. But generally people are very respectful and we’ve never had any uncomfortable encounters!

We also do sessions on the bay and in the springs. If you’re interested in these, let’s talk!

Will you pose me?

Absolutely! All of our sessions are 100% directed and posed. We’ll show you poses, tell you how to get those sensual facial expressions and how to flip that tail! We got you!

When will I see my photos?

We usually do gallery viewing and photo ordering on the same day after a short break (unless it’s a sunset photoshoot and you need to get back home / to your hotel to get that beauty sleep then we’ll schedule a viewing/ordering appointment on the following day).

What should I do with my pictures?

Heirloom Album! Breathtaking Wall Art! Collection of high quality matted Prints!

And don’t forget the digitals! Here is a guide to our products.
