When you are a busy mom of five AND have a full-time job it’s extremely hard (and equally IMPORTANT!) to MAKE TIME for yourself. Yes, it might take coordinating schedules and financial planning but IT IS POSSIBLE (and DOABLE!).

Charlotte booked a LAST MINUTE spot because someone else couldn’t make it. She shared that she’s been THINKING about doing a boudoir session and then she CAME ACROSS of a post with this opening. Since it was so LAST MINUTE and also during the HOLIDAY SEASON we worked out a CONVENIENT PAYMENT PLAN that worked with her budget.

We were thrilled to meet Charlotte in person and photograph her in our Lynn Haven studio!

Here is Charlotte’s story:

What was your reason and motivation to book a Boudoir experience?

I wanted to do something for myself and giving the pics to my S/O was a major perk

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before?

Yes I have. I loved the variety with Irina. The closet and the shoes were amazing. She made me feel comfortable and the shoot was quick and easy

What was your favorite part of the entire experience?

Deciding which photos to keep

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was easier than I expected it to be, I was OPEN MINDED going but I was also nervous. The whole experience was calming, easy and fun.

How did you feel when you first saw your images?

They were amazing and it made me HAPPY

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image?

I felt amazing afterwards I was happy with myself

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of the session?

I realized that I didn’t need to be so critical of myself that I sometimes don’t give myself enough grace. I am BEAUTIFUL and I should stop critiquing myself so much

How has your life changed since your session?

More comfortable in my own skin

What did you think about the final products you received?

I thought they were AMAZING. I ended up UPGRADING my package bc I couldn’t narrow the photos down anymore and doing even the first cut was super hard

What is one thing you would do differently at your next session?

Not stress about it as much before hand

What would you say to someone who is on the fence about booking her boudoir session?

Just do it! You won’t regret it. Whatever has you on the fence whether it’s financial, body consciousness, time etc. It can all be worked out. JUST DO IT!!

I’m a mom to 5 kids and I never do anything for myself. I always manage to talk myself out of anything I want to do or buy myself bc “I could use it on them instead”

But I’m so glad I finally did this! It made me FEEL SO GOOD and the experience was AMAZING!
