International Women's Day holds a special place in my heart.
I was born and raised in Soviet Union where this holiday has always been celebrated to the max - WOMEN OF ALL AGES were treated like QUEENS, showered with compliments, flowers and gifts. It’s been one of my favorite holidays not only because I knew I’d feel SPECIAL on that day but also because I’d make other women in my life feel SPECIAL as well.
From the lens of a boudoir photographer, this day takes on an even deeper meaning — a celebration of femininity, confidence, and self-love.
International Women's Day is a reminder to honor and celebrate women in our lives.
It's a day to reflect on the progress that has been made towards gender equality and to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done.
Ever since I moved to the United States I always looked forward to International Women’s Day as the perfect time to CELEBRATE the strength, beauty, and empowerment of women around me. And then it hit me: WE DON’T HAVE TO WAIT 364 days in order to celebrate women because we can and should do it EVERY DAY!
In the magical world of boudoir photography, every day is International Women’s Day because we believe in making women feel special, holiday or not! Every boudoir photoshoot is a special celebration of the individuality and beauty of a woman. It is my mission to make every woman who comes to my studio feel special and create a safe space for her to embrace her unique beauty and own her story
To all the women out there, I encourage you to embrace your uniqueness, celebrate your beauty, and own your story.
