There is always a FIRST TIME..
Do you get NERVOUS the FIRST TIME you do something NEW?
These pictures are from the first-ever boudoir session that I’ve photographed.
I share this story with every woman that comes to my studio.
I get vulnerable with my clients. They get vulnerable with me.
And here is the story behind these photos:
The first boudoir photoshoot I ever did was totally unplanned - my friend was going through a rough time after a split from her long-time boyfriend so we decided to do an IMPROMPTU mini-session at her place just for fun.
But like with anything new I was NERVOUS!
(At that time I was a family/wedding/real estate photographer and didn’t have any experience or proper training in Boudoir!)
But my friend was trusting me... and I certainly didn’t want to screw it up.
I wanted to do something to make her feel better and after our mini-session she told me that it was BETTER THAN A VISIT TO A THERAPIST 😮
That mini-session at my friend’s place was a defining moment in my career, my “AHA” moment.
I realized that I can do MORE than just take beautiful photos and I MADE IT MY MISSION.
It’s been over 5 years since that very first Boudoir session and since then I’ve take multiple courses on posing, lighting, styling, etc. as well as gathered a collection of outfits and accessories, put together multiple sets, selected best vendors and created a whole day photoshoot experience
